👩‍⚖️ Self-managed Landlords! From 1st June, Section 21 evictions will reduce from 6 to 4 months ⚖ View 'list of exemptions' and download 'full Amendment' below 📩

Yesterday, new regulations were passed to change Section 21 (S21): 📜

➡ Currently S21 notices are 6 months, will now be reduced to 4 months ⏳
➡ Shelf-life of S21 will be 4 months from the date of expiry - Landlords must start court proceedings within that time or S21 will expire 🚫
➡ S21 served before 1st June will not be affected by the changes 🛑
➡ A White Paper will be published in the Autumn setting out proposals to create a fairer Private Rented Sector that works for both Landlords and Tenants 📄

⚠ Most serious cases, will remain lower than 4 months
